Ownership, through its management company, GCAM LLC, operates a diversified, international real estate portfolio and takes an active role in operating and improving the properties it owns. Management of 214 West 39th Street has, since the building’s purchase in 1983, continually improved the building and the services offered to its tenants.
The overriding philosophy of the owner has been to improve and innovate all its properties, with an eye towards best serving the needs of the tenants of each property. Management at 214 West 39th Street has supported its many long-term and growing tenants through its flexibility and ability to craft spaces and leases that meet their tenants’ needs.

214W39 was initially a manufacturing loft. Through extensive renovations to the interior and exterior of the building, the owner transformed the property into a premier fashion establishment, and more recently, into professionally designed office space.
